In fact, while His Son was here, He grew up without a dad on earth from a young age. As an adult, He was broke and homeless. (Matthew 8:20) In our day, He would've probably been labeled by most as "just another kid from the ghetto." Even in His day, people said that He was nothing just because of where He came from. (John 1:46) In the same sense, a lot of people today ask, "Can anything good come from the hood?" If you answered correctly, then this book is for you. The truth is that God came for all of us, and He wanted to talk to us in our own language. So listen up via the official ebonics translation of the gospel of John.

Jesus set them example for suffering for us all. "For we do not have a high priest [and king] who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin." (Hebrews 4:15)

He even understands what our ancestors endured in the african slave trade, even bearing the marks of whips on his back. As such, I am unashamed of calling "Jesus, my master." For even as he said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 25:25-28)
