Just finished watching the movie - Soul. As the ending song stated, - it is aaight. Does give good insight about the meaning of life. Namely: life is not so much about completing goals and items off a dream list but rather the comprehensive collection of experiences that ultimately reflect a life well lived. I did find the absence with respect to Jesus Christ in the afterlife scenes a bit troubling; however, I understand why as this film was primarily intended for mass consumption. Therefore, they sadly assumed that referencing - The Way, The Truth, & The life -(John 14:6) would mess up their box office sales. Nevertheless, I would of enjoyed it more if they told the truth, namely: life after death is only possible as a result of the resurrection hope provided by God through His Son Jesus ransom sacrifice.
