Just doing what we're supposed to... (Luke 17:10)

Suffer the Little Children/ Megamind

Why do we think so little of kids? (Mark 10:13, 14) Some have even gone to the point of trying to convince them that being bad is the best way to grow up to be successful. I've noticed some children's movies carrying this theme of Villains as superhero's, such as: Megamind. I enjoyed the movie because it reminded me of myself. I was Megamind. As a matter a fact, sometimes I still act like him: thinking that I'm smarter than God to my detriment. Like Nas said, "Some people are too smart for their own good." I grew up thinking Bad was Good, and Good was bad; despite all of the positive influences in my life. Overall, it did have a good ending. The Villain becomes a Superhero. The main problem I had was the part were they picture the Original superhero, "Metroman" punking out and retiring to follow a life of music. I admit, I've done the same thing in my past, such as: ceasing to go door to door preaching with the witnesses in order to pursue my rap ministry. Looking back, I feel as if I made the same mistake; yet, I'm happy. But is that enough. Back to the point of Metroman faking his own death. That reminds me of the false prophets that said, "Jesus never died, and Resurrected." It's sad that they are trying to inculcate these false beliefs in our young ones so early by using cartoons; and being a parent myself, I feel that this is noteworthy to address. Jesus said, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, "'though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand." (Luke 8:10) Well, it seems that the enemy is attempting to do the same, by using parables/cartoons to communicate the deep things of Satan. But I just wanted to let you know that we are not deceived. (Rev 20:10)  For We are not ignorant of Satan's designs. (2 Corinthians 2:11)
