The Name of God

I love Jehovah’s witnesses but I must sadly say that they are somewhat misguided. I say this honestly and with keen understanding because I actually used to be one. However, eventually we had to part ways based on differences in beliefs.

For one, they considered all other churches (i.e. Christendom) as an integral part of Babylon the Great (Revelations 17:5) which is believed to be the world empire of false religion. However, this is based on some failures in the...

Plan of Action

For a long time now, I have been unproductive in various aspects of my life, namely: spiritually, occupationally, physically, socially, and mentally. Therefore, I think it is time to make a resolution to improve in these areas. However, I must soberly note that no amount of resolutions will change a course of living without the will power to follow through. We often look to external means as solutions whether it be praying to God, taking prescriptions, seeking encouragement fro...

Do you believe in the Trinity?

If you heard a sound and asked, "What or Who is that?" and someone said, "That's Bob!" Would you respond, "No, that's Bob's voice!" Eventhough, you would be right, the other person would be right also, because a person's voice is as much a part of him as his foot or hand. (1 Corinthians 12:15) Who determined that a person's being is limited solely to what is physically attached to the person? In God's case, that would be quite a limitation since He is a spiritual being. (John 4...

In this christian life, The Father is like a chess master and we are his chess pieces. Whatever your position, trust in his plan, & his hands. Since He is making the moves, we can't lose. Like Andy Mineo said, "These bars hard to explain, so I calculate my rhymes sort of like a chess game. I'm trying to balance all my art and theology, so when it comes out of me, I represent Him properly." Much like a chess game, there are times that we may feel, as his pieces, that we aren...

The Potter (Romans 9:14-26)

Posted by GFNSProductions on January 2, 2012 at 12:05 PM Comments comments ()

These verses are mind blowing. They basically say that God, as a potter made each individual unique and for their own purpose. Even the wicked individual, God made him for a purpose, namely: to display the depths of His patience and the greatness of His love for us. So some may say, "God made the person wicked so God is wicked also since the individual can't resist His will." My answer to them is "Woa!" It is scary to even think of someone talking back to God, so I'm in dread e...

The Episode/ Jehovah's Witness

In the middle of my wife's delivery of my first born son, Caleb, a whole team of nurses rush in suddenly because they observed Caleb's heart rate decreasing dangerously low. As I stared at the frantic scene, I was filled with dread thinking of the possibility that my son might die; and if so, I was somehow responsible.(Exodus 34:7; 2 Samuel 12: 14 - 18) Yet, I know now that this wasn't the case but we sometimes have the tendency to seek answers in certain dire situations with...
