Likely, you may have asked yourself the same question. There are a lot of different opinions with respect to this often debated and something uncomfortable topic; however, most would be shocked when they actually find out what the word of God says on this matter. As such, we will be exploring different passages starting from the old testament and working our way to the new testament. For only then can we get a full picture on this topic.

I love Jehovah’s witnesses but I must sadly say that they are somewhat misguided. I say this honestly and with keen understanding because I actually used to be one. However, eventually we had to part ways based on differences in beliefs.

Oftentimes, we as christians have the tendency to think: "I can sin a little, cause the majority of my conduct is good; therefore, the clean outweighs the stink." This reasoning may be found in us whether we are new believers or Christians that have known the Lord for awhile. When we use the sins in our former life as a comparison to justify the sins we commit now in Christ, we fail to realize how much of a destructive power even a little sin may have in our lives.
